Why Choose a Metal Garage?
Here’s the thing: building a traditional garage can be expensive. If you opt to have a garage built with a wooden frame and shingle roof or some variation on that theme, you are going to have to invest a large sum of money. To accomplish the same goal for a lower cost, consider a metal garage from Texas Star Steel Carports instead.
Fully Customizable
Our metal garages are fast to install and can be customized according to your needs. Sometimes, a buyer will have a unique situation to deal with or have specific preferences for sizing, colors, and materials. If you aren’t seeing any pre-made styles on our site that are quite right for you, it’s easy to create your own. Simply use our Build & Price Tool to build your custom metal garage. Roofing Styles
When ordering your custom garage, one major thing to consider is the roof style. We offer three roofing styles to best meet your needs:
-
Standard Roof. Our standard roof style is the most economical option. This style will give you the traditional garage style with curved sides.
-
A-Frame (Horizontal). If you are looking for a residential-style, our A-frame roof styles will be more convenient for you. Our A-frame horizontal roof features a panel running from end to end.
A-Frame (Vertical). We highly recommend that you upgrade to an A-frame vertical roof for units that are greater than 30 feet in length. The main reason is that our sheet panels are only 30 feet in length, so the panels will be overlapping, causing the roof of your unit to have leaks in the future—and you don’t want that to happen to your belongings. With our A-frame vertical roof, however, our panels run from the peak of the unit toward the eaves, and it is reinforced with hat channels. Another important advantage of this roof style is that it is perfect for places with snow loads. With vertical panels, snow and debris can slide off the roof easily without the constant need for maintenance.
Multi-Vehicle Options
What if you own more than one vehicle? No problem. We can create your metal garage in a size to best suit your needs—whether you need a single-car garage, two-car garage, or even a four-car garage. No matter how many vehicles your family owns, we can help you create a reliable structure to keep them covered and safe from the elements.
Side Entries Possible
One of the main advantages when it comes to metal garages is the choice to have side entries. This will allow us to place the garage doors on the long side. This is helpful, as some people find it more convenient to increase the length than the actual width of the unit. It is also cheaper to increase the length of the unit than the width. Now is this necessary? Absolutely not, but it is just one of the many options we have available for you.
